eh and its my first time la. give chance okay? Just thot that I would try for fun.. altho i know its liek super hard to get selected especially with my poor language and late application?! the closing date is like 31 jan la. But at least I'm doing something about my passion rather than sitting on my bum all day long thinking that it is impossible... and risk never knowing for the rest of my life what would happen if i had just tried. So to all you ppl who are still waiting for ur results, make the most out of this long break before u regret it! Just give it a try! no harm ;)

Dear Seventeen Team,

I have always been interested in fashion since young but had never thought of joining a magazine firm to pursue my interests until I watched "The Devil wears Prada". “Bimbotic” as it may sound but it did "re-ignite" the passion I have for the fashion industry. After reading the article "Working behind-the-scenes at Seventeen-our intern speaks" in the Jan 2007 issue, I finally convinced myself that this is what I really want to do before I start my university life. After my A’ levels ended, I told myself that I want to make the most out of this holiday, and I believe that when I am able to do something I enjoy and have a passion for, it will not be considered "work" in that sense but rather a sense of fulfillment. Nonetheless, I understand that there will be a lot of new challenges and new things to learn, but I am still looking forward to it because the exposure that I can gain from this would be worth it. I sincerely hope you would give me a chance to join your team in putting together an issue of Seventeen as an intern.Attached is my resume.

Achievements

CCA: Dance Society
* I was previously in the dance society in my secondary school as well as junior college. As an active committee member, I was involved with the choreography of dance steps as well as designing the costumes. This experience allowed me ample chance to think creatively which I believe is essential to this industry. Having to juggle with my heavy workload and responsibilities in my CCA has indeed expanded my capacity and taught me how to manage my time. Taking up leadership roles in the school as a peer leader during the orientation period has also helped me to learn how to be flexible in facing challenges. I hope to be able to have the opportunity to make use of my skills and contribute to your team in the best possible way.
