unphotogenic saturday..like superrrr

felt like its been quite some time since i took photos w u! i think u look pretty here!! and especially today! hahaaa mayb cos someone's bdae is comingggg ;))

and i still cant believe how fated we are! hahaha! i was trying to call janet a million times today after school cos was hoping i could catch the same train as her! but she DIN bring her handphone! den guess wad! just as i was feeling so pissed and was walking to the bus stop at aljunied... someone called my name! and TA-DAH! i saw JANET!! ahhhhh! hahaaa. u made my day ;)

i reallie look forward to saturdays you know. its like every saturday i nid to recharge my energy for the week. plugg into the holyspirit and start my week right! haha its not that i cant pray on my own at home or wad.. but when 2 or 3 gathers to pray in agreement there is greater power and the preaching of the word always serves to prep me up for the challenges in the coming week! reallie dunno wad my life would be like without God. ahhhh. i think u guys could see frm my last post that i was pretty sianed last week cos things just dun seem to be going my way. many things that i had planned for to happen din work out... but today going for cellgroup and seeing all the familiar faces... praising and worshiping God together ... having the word of God spoken into my situation so divinely coincidentally.. haha my spirits are lifted!

today's service marked the end of the series of the 4 "F"s haha.

Focus. Forgiveness. Faith. FORTITUDE.

wow. i was simple blown away by all the verses! so so many times in the bible, God was speaking about endurance and fortitude. and although this sermon may sound familiar but the way Pst Tan put it across today was like a new revelation in an old truth.

A man's strength is not shown thru victory but thru adversity.

James 1:3-4

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing

Importance of the bible..word of God is summed up in the one verse below!

Rom 15:4

4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

hahaa i'm not gonna start preaching here but boy am I provoked to keep the good fight of faith!
