A lazy sunday afternoon

okaes havent been blogging for days at the risk of losing janet's readership. hahaha
So to make up for that, this is going to be a very long post. haha i think.

lets start with saturday:

or rather saturday night. haha after service, practically everybody left to do their own stuff so the only few people who stayed for fellowship was just me charles and wendy. I was pretty fine with that since I was feeling really tired from lack of sleep the night before... not to mention that I'm sick. Thought we were gonna have a quick dinner then head back home early since I feel like I have not been spending any time w my family the past week.


BUT.....

slight change of plans cos george and darren came along for dinner. turns out darren is a male version of jme. hahaha okae if he ever sees this.. i'm dead. first time meeting him.. but according to wendy.. seems like we've known each other a long time. hahaha. anyway we ended up at his house after that cos someone was craving for a movie since she has not watch any tv in 5 days And I could not bear to burst her bubble and be a wet blanket...so not me la. HAHA. besides I rather go his house which is only one bus stop away from mine then go dempsey to drink wine. no moolah!

and guess what... they all wanted to watch the exorcism of emily rose?!?! at like what 2 am?? hello... its gonna be 3 soon..(3am is a significant time in the movie) but yeah i think its not bad. I like the plot... plus i closed my eyes at all the scary parts so it wasnt that bad. Its based on a true story and in fact... its quite related to what Pastor Tan just preached last week about suffering. Although some parts are totally not biblical.. but i think it gets the general message through to the audience. And that is the spiritual realm really exists.

Basically the story is about this priest who is being charged with negligence that caused the death of Emily Rose. Emily was being possessed by 6 demons... but of course the doctors diagnosed her with epileptic psychosis or something like that. Basically they were trying to use science to explain her "medical" condition. Mental illness etc etc. In the movie, they brought up the issue of why God let Emily suffer like that since she was a devout Catholic. Anyway the gist of it is that in the end Emily chose to contd to suffer like that so that her story can be told, and the world would know that there is a God and there is a spiritual realm. Kinda like suffering to be a blessing to others eh.

haha anyway it was a memorable first meeting ;)

back to my week... cant remember everything exactly but I basically spent most of my free time shopping w wj and janet! Yups.. went shopping with her and spent money on office wear... OUCH. Luckily wj paid for my new black jacket. hehe. ^.^





anyway... no more buying of clothes for me. I wanna save money for my holiday and my new bag and shu uemera foundation. my pay is too pathetic to pay for all these la! I think after my job at UOB, I wanna start doing events too.


OH yes! and I watched Sex and the City already!! GIRLS!! Go watch!! I cant help but think of my golden girls throughout the movie. haha miss you all! kbox soon? errr but i'm having a soar throat.. so.. haha hope i get well by then!
