Mutual edification

There are a few blogs that I always read because I feel edified after reading them..( and no, I do not know these people personally) but I always ask myself if people who read my blog will feel edified after reading it?

Naturally not all my posts are meant to edify la... haha some are pure narcissism. Others are for memory sake. Some are just simply random ramblings. But yeah what makes a blog interesting? Do I make anybody's day better because of it?

I guess I could write from my heart, but that would make me very vulnerable especially in this un-privatized blog. But yeah, as I was sharing with some of my frens,

Corrinne May once said: "The best performances come from the heart; performing is about communication, about connecting with one’s audience. It is about reaching out to offer one’s story, one’s vulnerability, to a listener,” she stressed.

And when its from the heart,the message becomes so much more powerful, whatever it may convey.


Yet there are many times after I write something, the first few thoughts would be: Should I post this? Will I offend anyone? What kind of reaction will I get?


the worse?? when my heart does not feel anything! What can I write from my heart if I aint feeling anything?

haha okae i'm not at that point now, so thats why I'm blogging.

There are some people who I seriously want to kick. Like how can you love someone, or claim you love someone, but yet your actions contradict what you say. How is it that after knowing how much that 'someone' loves you, and have experience his tangible love, still can turn your back and walk away like that? okay, maybe you din turn your back, but if you really love that 'someone' you will want to do the things that will please him right? Or is your love a self seeking love, such that the only thing that matters is whether you feel good every saturday?

Its really sad when people think that I am friendly to them for ulterior motives. But well, using Darrenn's analogy, its like I have a toy... that is super duper fun and I want to share it with you, my friend, but of course it would be better if you could buy one too, then we can play together! But that will cost you something eh? So how do I pyscho you to buy one? I can only tell you how fun it is and invite you to my house to play with it for a "trial run" la!
