reflections

Well this week felt like one of the fastest week in my life. haha! Organizing this event and hosting it for the first time, has stretched my capacity. Minor hiccups here and there, but we all learn from our mistakes! But yes I'm glad I was given the opportunity to learn, and this will certainly boost my public speaking skills! Many thanks to WEINI AND BG who came to support! Haha! I reaally appreciate it kays! And yes of cos not forgetting my lovely cellgroup members who were so ready to stand in the gap! peektures please! elicia, jo and weini* HINT HINT

I feel that the highlight of this event for me, other than bro d's preaching, was my interview with Terence. Hearing how God changed his life, from someone who nearly could not promote to J2, to someone with a cap score of 5 and is on the Dean's list, and at the same time President of the largest tertiary club in Singapore with more than 1500 members under him. I'm truly amazed. really really. Whatever I said on stage today was heartfelt. Despite him serving actively in church, he still can excel in all the other areas of his life is the power of God at work. Indeed,the bible says 'seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you'

It ties in with what Bro D shared about making the right choice. Everyday, I have to make a choice, whether I want to live an ordinary life, or am I going to choose to give it my best shot that will propel me to the extraordinary. I really love the chart he showed us today, life is short...and we need to start young!

I want to start living with a spirit of excellence!
