I'm proud to be part of city harvest church. haha. okae i noe that wen i say this, some people will just cringe naturally. but hey, i dun think that we are superior, but I know we are making a difference in people's life in Asia. No church is perfect, but thats where the grace of God comes in.

I thot Pastor Kong's series on servanthood this year was great. But the new series on SONSHIP that started this week is even BETTER! Its really a word in season.

Romans 8:14 (New King James Version)

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.


Hebrews 3:3-6
Jesus has been found worthy of greater honor than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself. 4For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything. 5Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future. 6But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.


Its really about how we see ourselves in the house of God. Do we see ourselves just as members of a church? Servants in the house of God? Or do we see ourselves as sons and daughters of God belonging to a family? sharing and embracing the same DNA, values, culture and mindset!

A son shares the heart of the father.
While servants do as they are told, a son will serve out of love and without having to be told!

Commitment is a big word in this generation. No one likes commitment. But it is a sign of maturity.

Sometimes when i'm tired i have thots of giving up and let someone else clear the mess. Sometimes when problems arise and things dun go smoothly, I just want to run away. Pack my bags and leave. But hey, if i'm a daughter, i cant leave home. I cant say I've lost the feelings for my family, I cant say i'm emo and want a break. Whoever takes a break from home in the first place?
