9th feb!
Weini dear felt really bad about not coming to my party...so we arranged for a meetup for the pretty girls club! haha becos of dear amy...we all had to sacrifice our beauty sleep and met up for breakfast at the prata place near nus :)
it was a impromptu meeting but i think thats the fun of it :P
janet and weini came my house after that to peep at my loot..hahaa and we had a really fun day just chilling and being lok cok in front of each other!
headed down to bbdc after that! ---> haha reason why i can remember everything so clearly is cos i have my organiser with me! Dunno what i'll do without it!
10th feb!!
had class frm 2-5pm followed by prayer meeting at riverwalk and then CGC meeting with bro D at EDB! wow! what a way to spend my birthday! hahaa but i dun regret any of them except the class at sch! hahaa prayer meeting was a simple affair in one of the rooms...a time where i really sat down and just lift everything up to God! hehe best part was bro d offered me a lift to edb after that! i got a shock when he called my hp but it was a pleasant surprise and it made my day! he din forget my bdae!! haha!
CGC meeting was really sth not to be missed! thank God i decided not to pon it :P
I'm all charged up spiritually!
And then Spidey boy came to take me out for supper after that! headed down to holland V's 2am dessert bar :) Its really a good place to chill and a perfect way to end my longggg day! haha plus we got complimentary chocolates from the boss! woohoo! weijie was really happy with the service, he says he'll definitely go back again!
11th feb!
Another longggg day! driving lesson in the mrg..class at 10am..project meeting and then another driving lesson in the afternoon. BAH!!! experienced a serious lack of sleep from trips to BBDC and projects.
Met up with Zoe (thank you for you company!) in the evening and headed down to Charles' farewell party.
haha i have to say... Charles has very nice frens! great guys and surprisingly easy to click with! well i guess its the kind of people he attracts! haha hope you continue to attract great people in Australia! and Zhinian's cooking skills are really great! I had 3 servings that night! yummy!
okae fastforward to 13th feb since 12th feb was just sch..project and bbdc..urgh
only fun thing on 12th was the jamming session at nite! great company and i love singing!
Jamming session on friday was even more fun cos i got to play the drums hehe.
Anyway we decided to have a 3 day valentines celebration this year to accommodate my busy schedule
and before i forget... valentines weekend this year was one of the BEST!
so on friday nite weijie gave us a lift to some place in geylang to collect our pay.. hahaha sounds so wrong..but anyway i really appreciate him being nice to my frens and being my chauffeur altho i noe he hates that feeling.
hahaa eh i'm not that bad too okae! got him a Braun Buffel wallet which Val helped to choose. :)
HE LOVES IT!! YAYNESS
Who says the only way to a man's heart is thru his stomach! hey girls.. guys can be as materialistic as us.
Anyway after dropping off alison and weini at bugis... we headed down to esplanade
jap dinner at ichiban boshi followed by dessert at Max Brenner!
14th feb-
DT zone's Valentine Special.. was REALLY SPECIAL! What can be better than experiencing the love of God in such a tangible way! Even as I led worship on stage, I could already feel his presence. DT preached a great message, but more than anything, I wanted to have a greater compassion! Dun ever want to lose it or be numbed to the 'lost' around me. haha indeed the whole heaven rejoices when one is saved! fruitfulness brings life. And when there are new people, there is a certain energy and hope in the air. Many many thanks to weijie who helped us transport the keyboard and all...and your presence made a whole lot of difference during the whole meeting!
haha he continued being my chauffeur as i had to rush to bbdc after that.. and den we spent the rest of our valentines day in the westt. Went to jurong east to eat my all time favourite yu pian mi fen and the auntie chided him for bringing me to a hawker center on valentine's day. hehe. the auntie remembers us as the couple who started coming to her stall 5 years ago! hahaha. we are seriously considering inviting her to our wedding in future. HAHA. Caught "the curious case of Benjamin Button' at night... interesting movie... but SUPER LONG. abit draggy!
15th feb-
BBDC AGAIN!
and then service at jurong west. awwww. we almost wanted to pretend we were married so that we can get the rings. hahaha. kidding.
But pastor's series on relationships.."His needs, her needs" is really AWESOME!
Every couple Christian or not should hear this!!
