I must admit I've been feeling rather disheartened lately. Disappointment in some people (including myself), mixed with feeling unappreciated, timetables clashing, makes me want to take the easy way out and heck care. I mean why try so hard for when it seems like "nature" is going against you. Why bother to meet up if people dun want to?

I think you guys and even myself is so sick of me complaining. its like "oh no, whats she emoing about again this time?"

But I realize that its not my fault, neither is it the people, but there is a constant battle for our life between the angels and demons every single day.

There is a war going on every day for your emotions(mood), feelings, time and attention.

Hebrews 4:7 (New International Version)

"Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts."a]" style="font-size: 0.75em; line-height: 0.5em; ">[a]

Hebrews 4 talks about the Sabbath-Rest for the People of God.

Alot of people are mistaken that this sabbath day, must be a Sunday, just because in the begining, the bible says that on the seventh day, God rested from all his work. So there is all sorts of misconceptions that christians should only go church on Sunday etc etc. And if they don't they are guilty of breaking God's commandments. And this disobedience will stop them from entering God's rest.

Well this is only half true. Disobedience will stop you from entering God's rest.
Ps 95: 10-11

10 For forty years I was angry with that generation;
I said, "They are a people whose hearts go astray,
and they have not known my ways."

11 So I declared on oath in my anger,
"They shall never enter my rest."

But the disobedience has nothing to do with whether you rest on a sunday or a monday or a saturday. Because God made it very very clear in Heb 4

Hebrews 4:6-7 (New International Version)

6It still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience.

* note the word "Today"- God set a certain day calling it "Today"

7Therefore God again set a certain day, calling it Today, when a long time later he spoke through David, as was said before:

"Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts."a]" style="font-size: 0.75em; line-height: 0.5em; ">[a]

If Today, God is calling out to you, trying to get your attention, and if you harden your heart, push it aside for "later", then you are falling into the same act of disobedience.

-Disobedience of not entering the rest (Sabbath), at the appropriate day and time.

Hebrews 4:10-11 (New International Version)

10for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. 11Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (New International Version)

3For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.

4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
