haha airband was very fun too! janet, jon and ivan represented us and they were sooo funny! the crowd went wild!

Anyway, service before the event, was better than what i expected!

He brings understanding and new perspectives to seemingly fundamental truths!

Its interesting how we all thought that the original sin Adam committed was the act of disobedience, but the fact is, the act was only a symtom of the root cause. The problem lies in the intent, in the motive.

Adam was actually trying to find his identity/ security in the knowledge that he thought the fruit from the tree will give.


Idolatry is seeking security and meaning in someone/something other than through your relationship with God.

Wow. Thats why we are all still work in progress. I think at some point of our life or another, we tend to find our security/ identity in our positions, friendships or titles, be it fame, money, or even as a leader in our social group. What if one day, these things are stripped from you, will your world fall apart?

People worship whatever they find security and meaning in.

Because of Sin, Man is separated from God. But He chose to send his son to Earth to die on the cross for us, so that now, we can have a relationship with him. Doesnt make us perfect immediately, but thats the beauty of grace. God doenst wait until you're perfect before he uses you.


Grace is undeserved favour. Grace has no meaning or value without laws. The introduction of law, opens the door to sin. But without sin, there cannot be grace.

I like what he says about Faith!

Faith is a reasoned trust in God.
Our reasoning becomes the foundation of faith.
As christians, there is a reason why we believe in Jesus Christ!

Faith has to do with the intellectual, emotional and will aspect of our lives!
